Can someone explain this to me please?

You are to read Plato's Allegory, then yze the symbolism Plato uses, the message he is trying to deliver, and evaluate his argument. I would guess the method and effectiveness of the argument should be addressed. Not as threatening as it looks at first sight. First, you gotta read it. Then you need to understand what it is trying to say. Consider what the people are doing and why are they not looking at each other; why is the light so dim; what is the significance of the puppet show. Why do so ffew few people get up and head toward the light and why do so many return to the cave?
