Yo doggy help me out?

well im a boy and my hair is starting to get past my eyebrows . i have really poofy hair and it poofs wen i comb it usually.. wat should i do to get that hair down and make it stay down .. i sort of have a shag look sort of. need that skater look.. o ya how do u flip your hair ?? what do u use??
