Newlywed married for almost a year & husband has stopped buying gifts for me on holidays, Why?

He's done the same thing that many men do. They don't start out like they can hold out. He did these things before because he knew it would attract you to him and now that he has you he doesn't find them necessary. He essentially believes you're paid for. If he thought he could have gotten your attention without doing those things he wouldn't have done them to begin with. So, now you need to either accept what he is to you for the other days of the year and cope with the fact he's not going to go gaga over holidays or continue to brood over it. He should do things because he *wants* to do them, not because he's nagged into them.
